Netflix original series: “Maya and the Three”

During the Maya and the Three production, I filled the roles of:
Character Modeller, Prop Modeller, Environments Modeler, and Lighter/Compositor.
Software Used: Blender, ZBrush, Fusion Compositing

3D modelling work:

Maya’s Quinceanera Dress

Modeled from a 2D reference.
I was responsible for creating the dress and banners, with the exception of the helmet and accessories.

Luna Island Witches

Modeled from a 2D reference.
Model was reused twice for twin Luna Island witches.

Zyanya / Barbarian Female Crowd

Modeled from a 2D reference.
This model was used for the character Zyanya, Zatz’s mother. It was also resurfaced and reused as a base body for barbarian female crowds.

Rico's Magic Shark

Modeled from a 2D reference.
The model was used for Rico’s magic spells.

Snake / Lord Mictlan's Snake

Modeled from a 2D reference.
This was a task that was passed down from another artist. I was in charge of reworking the model to better suit surfacing and rigging needs.
I also created its custom eyeballs, mouth, retractable fangs and tongue.

Shirtless Picchu

Modeled from a 2D reference.
I was tasked with creating a naked muscly torso for this character as a variant body for when he takes off his armour.

Lord Mictlan's Heart

Modeled from a 2D reference.
I created this heart while working in collaboration with another artist who created the snakes biting into it.

Chiapa’s Teeth

Modeled from a 2D reference.
I created Chiapa’s teeth and gums, and fit it inside his mouth.
I also created a shapekey that affected the gums and teeth to allow the fangs to extend for a signature smile.

King Teca’s Bandages

Modeled from a 2D reference.
I created a multitude of King Teca’s bandages that he acquires throughout the chapters.

Lighting and Comp Reel

Several shots that I did lighting, compositing, and superimposed effects on.
Effects included sword sparks, dust, smoke, and shiny gleams.
