Chun-Li ZBrush Sculpt

This was done as a musculature study for ZBrush sculpting class. I chose to do a muscular female form in the likeness of the iconic Street Fighter character Chun-Li.

Style Reference

I chose to use Chun-Li as my reference for the sculpt because I felt that she is the world’s most iconic and recognizable muscular female character. My style reference was the Alpha Chun-Li suit and her iconic martial arts stance.

Procedure

The model’s base human shape was first constructed from ZSpheres converted to Adaptive Skin. I referred to a wide range of anatomical and body builder references to shape the muscle.

Once the sculpt was complete, I moved on to the tight leotard, jacket and the wrist and hair accessories.

The sculpt was posed using Zsphere rig.

Textured in Substance Painter
